Hello,
I'm running an old vbulletin 3.8.7 and PHP 5.2. i've bought a number of products made by dragonbyte's developers, including vbcredits, vbcommerce, vboptimise, vbadvertise, etc. the administrators to my server recently made a mistake and upgraded php to 5.3 when they shouldn't have; they since put 5.2 back on, but then I started getting the following vbulletin error:
Site error: the file /home/informed/public_html/plugins/advertise_plugins.php requires the ionCube PHP Loader ioncube_loader_lin_5.2.so to be installed by the site administrator.
*you'll notice the error references vbadvertise; i've disabled vbcredits, vbadvertise, vbcommerce, yet the error remains.
ionCube PHP Loader is installed, i tried adding a reference to it in the php.ini file and the .htaccess file, and I even disabled the product using sql statements -- yet the error persists. i'm wondering how the error can persist even when the product is disabled? any help here would be most appreciated -- my site is currently down
thanks
