hola

Customer
After upgrading from vbseo to dbseo, I have several errors:

1º When I edit a CMS post:

Code:
Warning: Declaration of vBForum_Item_SocialGroupMessage::getLoadQuery() should be compatible with vB_Model::getLoadQuery($required_query = '', $force_rebuild = false) in ..../packages/vbforum/item/socialgroupmessage.php on line 0

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare fetch_modlogtypes() in .../web/htdocs/includes/functions_log_error.php on line 20

2º When I want to moderate: move a thread in forums this error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare fetch_modlogtypes() in .../web/htdocs/includes/functions_log_error.php on line 20

3º Tapatalk is not working to post, it allows to read the forum, but gives server error when posting.

4º I have selected in the vbulletin Admin panel not to display confirmation pages (after postin for example), but something is overriding this setting ¿?¿?

I am testing other features to see if there is some other problems.

Thanks.

Other problem: Users cannot edit their threads, the loading symbol appears but it continue thinking,...

Your PHP version is too new for vB 4.2.2, you need to upgrade to 4.2.3 or newer. PHP 5.4 and newer is not supported by 4.2.2.

But yesterday, before dbseo PRO installation, all this functions were working perfectly.

The only change in the server is the PRO installation of dbseo, so I think dbseo has something to tell in this issues ¿?¿?¿?, and it is not a vbulletin problem, because we were running vbulletin 4.2.2 and php 5.4 without any of these issues.

In Vbulletin.com recommends php 5.4 with vbulletin 4.2.2. Here:

What is the best PHP version for runing VBulletin 4.2.2? - vBulletin Community Forum

No, DBSEO does not have anything to do with this.

I strongly recommend upgrading to a vBulletin version that fully supports PHP 5.4, but if you would rather avoid fixing the problem, you can hide them by turning on the "PHP Compatibility" setting in the Plugin/Hook System and/or set define('SKIP_ALL_ERRORS', true); in config.php

Thanks, the only problem is that 4.2.3 is in beta,... and that's why I am not very confident about upgrading...

Because all the mods/plugins have to support this upgrade,... That's the point,... But if you recommend to upgrade I will do it, of course you are the expert ;)

Thanks!

4.2.3 changes nothing other than fixing bugs like the ones you reported in the OP, we've been running it without issue :)

Thanks again,

I will do it today ;)

Two questions

- What about vbseo? Can I uninstall it? Better leave it disabled? Please tell me what I can do to have my system as light as possible with the new dbseo configuration.

- There are some plugins like vbgallery and media library that are being rewitten. Is dbseo rewrite?, or is vbseo working yet (it is disabled)?

- Is there any variable like in vbseo for the url of CMS pages {vb:raw page_url_vbseo}?

I used this variable to facebook share buttons in the CMS home in vbcms article preview template, and now it continue working (or Perhaps is only cache ... ¿?¿?¿?¿? Is dbseo using the same variable?

{vb:raw page_url_vbseo}

Is vbseo active in some way altough it is disabled from admin panel?

Can you please explain the best way to complete the upgrade from vbseo to dbseo? What to do with vbseo?

Thanks for your help,

It's safe to uninstall it, although if you used its Likes system, that data will be erased on uninstall.

DBSEO does not contain any rewrite rules for those two mods, so I'm not entirely sure what's going on there.

Unfortunately not, sorry :(

As far as I'm aware, it isn't.

I'd recommend downloading all your vBSEO configuration XML files (as a backup) then removing them from your server :)
