Question Reported Post notified user

On our forum When user reports a post it goes directly into a Forum called "Reported Post"

Now the problem with have is say a user reports another members post and that user has Notifications/mentions/quotes switched on

Then the user gets notified that user A has reported their post

If that makes sense?

Any ideas or workaround or anyone else have this issue

They will not get a notification about someone having reported their post. They will get a notification saying they have a new mention, but the mention will not be visible to them in their profile.

At this time there's no way around this, as the system to add a new notification cannot check for permissions in the thread in question. It's something we are aware of and will be looking to explore alternate solutions for in the future
