Question Questions Regarding the Classifieds

Hi Mokonzi,

I have been asked a few questions by my moderators and admin, and said I would ask you if these features where planned.

1) Will there be any featured listings?
2) Will there be usergroup integration, Example a certain usergroup could feature an item.
3) With regards to question 2, would there be any limits you could set for usergroups, Example - could have 2 featured items a month.
4) My moderators are really worried about paypal gift, we have had allot of bad problems and WE absolutely do not allow paypal gift by our users, would we be able to make sure that paypal gift cannot be used, or would it be a case of having it in our TERMS (which it already is).
5) We ask our members to post an image of the item with a username written, here is an example:

Can we have all items to be placed in a moderation Queue until a mod has decided on this?

6) With Regards to question 5 If a classifieds is declined (from moderation queue) could it automatically Email or PM the user with a reason

Just wondered if any of the above was planned or might be a possibility?

To explain what Beta 8 includes in relation to the above...

1 - Implemented
2 - Implemented
3 - Partially Implemented - A usergroup can have a set amount of featured items at any one time
4 - Awaiting More Anaylsis
5 - Implemented - Usergroups can have their items pushed into a queue automatically
6 - Partially Implemented - Users receive email/PMs of the item being approved/unapproved but future updates will expand on this system

Absolutely love this modification it already has more features than you can imagine!

Glad some of our ideas went down well

I wanted to ask about a shop feature for certain usergroups or a rental fee for a shop?

Could be really nice feature and make some really nice income for forums?

EDIT:
Thinking about this in more depth it could end up being as big as the classifieds...

As the classifieds is a huge addition to the forums, if something like a shop could be added would it be an idea to have it as a paid addon?

It's a possibility. Once we've got the core working, we can take a look at expanding it to include stuff like you are suggesting. I'll need Fillip H.'s and Cosmic's input on it to figure out the best method of approach.
