Bug Notifications don't go away

Hello,
The notification system works well, but that notifications never goes away, after clicking the link in the menu and even after visiting the message.

What can it be?

That only happens if you are running vBSEO and use a custom rewrite on profiles - manually going to profile.php?u=userid&tab=dbtech_thanks should resolve it though

Obviously replace userid with your user id
