Legacy More Placeholder Control

Another feature that would be nice is to have more control over the placeholder. Right now it is just a text image with a white background.
I realize that we could make our own placeholder text image and probably change the background color in a css file (I have not looked at this yet) but it would be nice to "spruce" (flashy, eye catching) up the placeholder as a selling feature.

Maybe have the placeholder as an ad function itself. (just brainstorming here)

Because ad spaces can be any kind of size, I had to create a pretty hackish workaround for the placeholder. It's basically only the text "Your Ad Here" and the background is 100% CSS scaled to the size of the banner space.

I've no idea how that could be made more customisable, but it's certainly something we can discuss

I figured as much as I was typing the request, that is why I added the brainstorming idea.

So on that note, is it possible to have the option of creating your own ad for placeholder otherwise it uses the text and css placeholder?

This will be implemented in the Gold version, scheduled to release on Friday.

You will also be happy to hear that the entire placeholder / wrapper system has been re-designed and now uses not only a .css template-file, but also stylevars for:

• margin
• border
• background
