I have this concept on mind:

If an email is rejected, it´s always rejected to the sender (I think)

Now suppose that the IMAP User Name is "bounce@try.com" and the Mailing List has in the field From Email the "from-email@try.com" email address:

If you send the newsletter from "from-email@try.com", and you have configured bounce@domain.com has the email to get bounced emails, how bounced emails are going to arrive to "bounce@try.com"?

If you also filled out the "Bounce Email Address" setting in vBulletin Options -> Email Options then vB will direct bounced mail to that address via some email headers
