Bug Error Uploading File

When uploading a file im getting the following popup error:

my downloads folder is set to CHMOD: 766
and is loaded in /home/xxxxx/downloads

What value do you have for the "Path to Downloads" setting in your AdminCP?

Does a folder exist at that location?

Yes mate, with chmod 766 set.

Sorry, you had already mentioned that it does exist! I am just going through the steps in my head that can cause this!

Do you have safemode enabled by any chance?

Nope, safemod is not enabled.

This issue has been fixed by CHMODing the downloads folder to 777. For some reason, 766 will not allow uploads through.
