Permissions to select which forums are to be included in the user spotlight would be great because if you have a private forum that the admin does not want to be displayed.

It should be showing the forums you have permissions to view as it is right now. It gets a list of the forums you frequent and cycles through them until it finds one the user viewing has access to view.

Let me know if you have tested it with a test user and it doesn't work that way.

oops it does have permission by usergroup
I tested it again as it has been a couple of days since I looked at it... okay when test user is logged in it seems to work =shows the forum which they have permission but it does not seems to be working with unregistered users, it shows the private forum within the spotlight...it shows the spotlight which even if they are not logged in. Prefer to have the user spotlight for those who are logged in

I tried clearing my browsers too.

Just as an update, I'd love to be able to exclude specific forums from showing up, as we have an "archive" forum, and that's not a great place to see a member's "Most Posts" counted! XD

Yes, I agree.
Thanks Diana Notacat for reminding me about this...with mine it was a private forum showing up for guest this main happens in the sidebar opition. I had disable the mod because of the guest issue and specific forums showing up.

I am sure once this is worked out I will use this mod.
