Hello Dragonbyte,

Quick question regarding your SEO product, we're currently running vBSEO on our forum (quite a large one) and with the upgrade to 4.2.2 we're looking into switching to your SEO plugin in order to preserve all our current links from vBSEO.

However, we currently run on IIS 7.x (and soon 8.x), has your product been tested to work on IIS?
If so, is there the available re-write rules for the URL Rewrite Module? vBSEO support provided us with the needed config to put in our web.config to allow vBSEO to run successfully on IIS, hoping we can get similar if we jump ship.

Hopefully so, then your have a lifetime + branding fee sale coming your way :)

Cheers.

You can simply edit your web.config file and replace vbseo with dbseo and that would make DBSEO work :)

When you say just edit vbseo to dbseo, do you mean just like almost a find and replace of of the text 'vbseo' to 'dbseo' in our current rules or are the rules different for dbseo? Can't just copy the Apache htaccess config into web.config.

Need to understand the changes better before putting £140 down.

Can you also confirm dbseo has been tested on an IIS setup at all?

Cheers.

Correct :)

Not by us, but we have several customers running IIS that's reported no issues :)
