I have an item for open/close and in the configuration page, it shows 'Usergroup Permission Override (Yes / No) Pick a usergroup permission to override = can open/close thread' but when the item is purchased by a user, the permission doesn't work, why is that?

Some permissions aren't guaranteed to work due to the fact that vBulletin sometimes doesn't properly cache permissions making it impossible to hook into. It's not really something I'm able to fix sadly

so that option was added to sit there.
