Bug Cannot change thread title style of other user's threads

Hello!

Even though I can activate the item Thread Title Style (Pre-Defined) using links/IDs to other user's threads, the effect is not visible. When I activate the item on threads which I own, then the effect is correctly applied.

This is working as intended. When rendering a thread / post, the system only checks for the thread starter or post owner's purchases.

Changing this would require a radical redesign, so it's not feasible to change as part of a bug report.

Could there be a warning of some kind when trying to activate the item on a thread that you do not own? Or an option to prevent this entirely, so the user doesn't waste the item?

That seems reasonable, I'll keep this ticket open and post back when I've made that change
