Okay, If we need hooks for Thanks/likes...what do we need in vb to get it maybe we could start something in JIRA.

In the mean time back to my request.
Use the Rate this Entry for Thanks and likes

In the mean time I started playing around with the Rate this Entry (Blogs) and the Rate this Thread (Forum)

This is not a Thanks / Like mod but I thought I would share and maybe it would spark something and maybe some would like this simple change to the Rate this...

It's something we'll look into more for future versions, for v2.0 we focused on "general purpose" features

Not everybody has access to the Blogs, after all. As in, the "Suite" package as opposed to just "Forums".

Yes, I think I mentioned hooks in another thread here on dbtech but take a look
this might work. 4.1.10 New Hooks here

We are unable to use hooks that were added to recent versions due to lack of backwards compatibility

Perhaps once a significant enough amount of versions have been released so that most people have upgraded, but not right away.

Yes, makes sense but it's exciting to know that vB has taken another step forward.
