Hi,
Just install vBMail to my site.
Make test with IMAP and work like a charme.
I would like to add a widget for user who want to be informed about news from site.
Require defaut mailing list to assign to the widget (i suppose)
And make the widget for forum/CMS
Is it possible, like it's very essential for this sort of mod.

Secondly, in my test i specify the variable :

[I]{username}[/I]

The result is the email ??? See screenshot : (the first email is theoretically username

Widgets and other PHP code based mailing lists will be possible in a future version.

External mailing lists use the email as the username because external users do not have a username. This is fully intended behaviour

Any news ? this is a must have for a newsletter to have a widget where the member can subscribe...

There has been no update to vBMail that includes this functionality, sorry.
