There are hints of this everywhere and I thought I would get the ball rolling. We are all thinking it...

Let's face it this is a product all on it's own.

vBTicker
Displays a ticker live-stream of activities by users. There are Three "Ticker streams":One Community, One Friends and one User Profile Timeline ticker

All rolled into one.
Widget or Block pulls the following items:

Live Threads
Status Updates
Shouts
Thanks
Likes
Activity (Awards etc..)

Posts (with Attachment Thumbnails??)
Visitor Messages
Group Messages
Group Joins
Albums
Album Pictures
Picture Comments
Announcements
blog post
blog comments

Well I think you get the idea.

The last one is with dates and stuff...vB likes this kind of stuff.

Edit:
I know the shout box (chat) does some of this
and some of the other dbtech products have info streams.

I am looking for a sexy widget/block that will pull everything I need
and most of all is Live.

I welcome a vBTicker.

We've got something that would do this functionality near the top of the to do list... but in a much bigger way. Can't say any more just now =P
