Question vBDownloads - Attachment

I want to use the download database "vBDownloads" but first I have a question.

When uploading files to the databse, they are stored with their original name in the folder "vBDownloads". Everyone who knows the exact name of the files is able to download them.

Is it possible to rework the uploaded files like the original vBulletin Download files?

You can correct this by following the recommendations in the "download path" setting - store your downloads outside the public_html folder

For instance, if your forum is located in /home/maestro/public_html, create a folder at /home/maestro/vbdownloads and CHMOD it to 0777, then set /home/maestro/vbdownloads as your path in the settings.
