Legacy Username change

Is it possible to make one of the items in the store a one time username change? I have a mod that allows members to change their username X amount of times depending what usergroup their in. I'd like to set it up so they can purchase username changes with the shop.

Yeah, set it to Can Reconfigure = No

That means they can only configure it once, so only one change

What if they discard the item and rebuy it to be able to change the username again?
How can I deal with this situation?

I don't believe there is a way to deal with this situation right now. You could remove the Discard button from the templates, I suppose.

I see. It would be nice if there is an option to make an item un-discard able. Then combine with unique option. It might not be the best solution but it does stop user from abusing the discard+rebuy trick. Plus we can make the item disappear in "x" day if we want them to have the option to rebuy the item.
