Legacy Show categories on slider?

I am wondering if it would be possible to allow the selection of categories to have the articles pulled from and put in the slider? Thanks!

Yes that would be perfect. I have a category called "Featured News" which would be the only category that would be in the slider. Thanks for the quick response!
