Customer
Hello,

I have been trying to remove the nofollow from internal links, but I don't know how to do it. When inetrnal links have any parameter ?, vbulletin automatically adds rel=nofollow.

In the past this was ok, but now google can read perfectly these parameters, so I would like to know how can I put rel=Follow in all internal links.

I have checked in BBCODE settings and I have NO in the add nofollow setting.

i don't know if DBseo is responsible of this, or if it's vbulletin spec.

Can you please point me in the right direction to activate all internal links as FOLLOW?

Thanks!

I've looked into the code, and I can't find a reason why this would be happening. When you say internal links, do you mean any links, or just thread links, etc?

i think only the links which URLs content variables:

any-url.php?varieble1=3

This links are automatically created with nofollow.

I remember to read some time ago that people recommended to put nofollow links in this type of internal links to avoid dupe content.

but I don't remember where it is activated/deactivated, or if it is a DBSeo feature,... ¿?

Looking for it, i have only found the BBcode settings config, but it is ok.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I think it was a vbseo feature. I have found this:

"VBSEO also gives you the option to add rel=nofollow to links based on many variables including, all internal links, all external links, member urls on forumhome, and member urls on showthread."

Yes, confirmed it was a vbseo feature, you can activate/deactivate from vbseo cpanel/SEo features

add nofollow to all internal link with variables.

but i cannot find this in DBseo to deactivate it. I have vbseo deactivated (not unistalled), and i don't know if it is taking this information from it ¿?

I'm pretty sure DBSEO does not have that feature. Can you inspect the HTML and tell me the setting variable name for that vBSEO setting?

Hi, I have been looking for this. I have reactivated vbseo and disable this options and disable vbseo again, but it continues the same ¿?

These are the variebles in vbseo code:

<div class="right"><dl><dd><input type="radio" name="setting[VBSEO_NOFOLLOW_DYNA]" id="setting_VBSEO_NOFOLLOW_DYNA1" value="1"><label for="setting_VBSEO_NOFOLLOW_DYNA1"> Sí</label></dd><dd><input type="radio" name="setting[VBSEO_NOFOLLOW_DYNA]" id="setting_VBSEO_NOFOLLOW_DYNA2" checked="checked" value="0"><label for="setting_VBSEO_NOFOLLOW_DYNA2"> No</label></dd></dl></div>

Thanks! You have MP as requested in the other post,

DragonByte SEO does not currently have an equivalent to the VBSEO_NOFOLLOW_DYNA setting.
