Bug Oldest First doesn't snap scroll of shoutbox to bottom

in vbShout when I select the 'oldest first' option the shoutbox snaps (correctly) to the bottom of the shoutbox so I scroll up through the list of shouts.
This is perfect for the default configuration where the shout entry area is a the bottom of the shoutbox.

On Xenforo - the shoutbox doesn't snap to the bottom, so users must scroll to the bottom.

It is a known issue, but it's difficult for me to nail down so I don't have a resolution just yet. Sorry
