It would be nice if DBT had an update notification for its mods similar to that of vb.org.

Well we sorta do if you subscribe to DragonByte Technologies News or News Discussion and choose Daily updates by email you will get a email that their is a new thread in that forum.
Also if you are receiving email the weekly email tells you to.
Additionally if you subscribe to Cosmic's Blog, and choose Instant notification by email, you will get a email that way to.
