Question Is it possible to rewrite vbdownloads urls outside of forum root?

Currently I have it setup as /forum/downloads/

Is there any way in the current settings to allow me to use just /downloads/ ?
 
It's relative to the forum URL so I don't believe that's possible. vBDownloads itself isn't supported outside the forum root either.
