You can only import images/comments/views from the same database :(
Why do you have two separate databases? did you convert from a different software to vB and used impex or something to import?
Trying to figure out if there's something we can do

I have used PhotoPost since version 3 and it is possible to use PhotoPost with a separate database.
In the past they recommand this.
Benefit is that by updates only a backup from the PhotoPost database is needed and never Vbulletin will be infected by errors or faults.
The only thing what PhotoPost used from Vbulletin is the users table so login is the same.
I I have read it right I can import the images/comments/views but not the usersnames.
Is this right?

If I import the albums from the forum itselfs, is this a complete import (included usersnames?)

I don't really import usernames either way. Each user has a userid which is used to link their user account to their actions in the rest of it. So as long as their userid is the same between the two databases it should be ok. If you want I can modify it so that it will allow you to connect to the other database.
