Legacy delete thread item?

Is this a physical delete or a soft delete?

On my forum we don't delete threads, but instead move them to a private junk forum. Is there a way to move threads to a designated forum? I want to offer members a delete option, but not actually delete the threads, just move them to this private forum.

It's a soft delete. There's currently no way to move a thread instead, though I can change this thread to a feature request

Yes. Please add it as a feature request, it would be very useful.

One more question. Is this item usable on any thread or only on threads that member created? I don't want members deleting other members threads, so hopefully it works only on members own threads.

There are currently no restrictions other than whether the admin has configured the thread's forum to be excluded or not.

Then I have a 2nd recommendation, limiting thread deletion to a members own threads only.
