I am considering purchasing this, but would like to know some things first, if you guys don't mind.

I am currently using the Post thank you hack, just to say thanks. The main hack I use is hide hack resurrection. We design Windows 7 themes and our designers use the Hide Reply tag to hide the attachment. A member has to reply before they can see the download link. Guests has to register before they can download of course. For they can't reply as guests.

What I want to know is this: Currently screenshots and pictures attached in the posts are visible to all. Only the physical theme's zip or rar, or whatever is hidden. Can I do the same with your mod?
So what I want to be able to do is to make images visible, but hide the zip, etc, until someone click the "Thanks" button.
The reason I also use both those hacks is the fact that I use the 'Chief first post" mod as well and the 'Hide' mod does not insert the 'thanks' button into the first post. So I need to know that your mod will do this?

I hope you guys understand what I mean. Seems even confusing to me now! :p

Thanks again for your great products and service!:)

Currently, every single attachment is hidden when that option is enabled. There's also no option to require REPLY to see attachments, it's either Thanks or Like (or both).

I really want this mod....lol

I want to know this please. If I add an image inline in the IMG code, can I still hide the attachment. (The file for download) and then the image will not be hidden. Also is this connected with repping. For example, can I set it to give lets say give 5 rep points when the thanks button is clicked?

Are you considering to do that in the future though. It seems a bit pointless. (Well OK, maybe it will stop spamming a bit!)

EDIT: Sorry. How is the hide function implemented? Can I specify for which forums I can use it? And can I hide all attachments in a complete forum? I am asking because I want to stop using VS_Hide resurrection. But I have too many attachments hidden with that.

The hide function is currently in no way, shape or form intended to replace a dedicated Hide-hack.

There's just way too many functions - like the ones you described - that would be outside the scope of this hack. We only implemented the current Hide-functionality because people requested it.
It is possible that it evolves into a mod that works like Hide-hacks with all the advanced functions you listed, but right now it doesn't do that.
