Bug Activity Target resetting automatically

Activity target is automatically resetting to lower value (may be default value based on forum activity), but I wanted it higher. Each time I change the value , it gets reset after a day.

It is now currently at 17.89, but I have kept is as 700.

Why is it resetting again?

This is not a bug. You need to set the Threshold higher and wait for the cron job to run, which will automatically set it higher. I cannot tell you a good value to use, so you'll need to experiment in order to find out what works for you

I have manually set it to 700, and it remain for a day like this, and once later I visit the admin panel, the value again decreases to some 19- 20. Each time I set the value, it reverts back in a day or two to lower value.

I do not want a lower value, I want it more than 700 + but it gets back to 19-20

Please re-read my post, I told you to modify a different setting from the one you are referring to.

Would you explain better. You mean I do not need to edit the value at Activity stat settings > Activity Target but something else?

Activity Target: Minimum Points in the same interface. That will control the automatically set Activity Target by calculating an average amount of points those users have.

This time I set both Activity Target and Minimum Points to 700. And next day the Activity target was reset to 1 automatically. Would you please explain what further I need to do?

Keep increasing minimum points until you see the value changing.

What the minimum points setting does is control what users are considered active on your forum. For instance, if you have 500 members with 1 million points, and 90,000 members with 1000 points, you would need to set the Minimum Points to 1 million. You can use the activity leaderboard to determine the average points for your active members.
