When I click the main shout tab, the active users tab says "Active Users: 1"

but the active users window on the right says "There are no active users"

When I click the active users tab, it changes it's title to "Active Users: 0"

When I click back to the main chat tab, the active users tab title says "Active Users: 1" again.

The sidebar displays the number of active users in your current chat tab. I believe also the active users tab changes its count based on this. So if you're in a custom chat, that might explain this behaviour.

That makes more sense, but doens't completely solve what I saw.

The tab title said 1 active user, never on any other tab did it say there were any active users. So I'd guess there's an update missing somewhere.

The only time it said 1 user was on the main chat tab though (which was wrong), unless it was counting me. In which case the active users box should of listed my name. Not sure which was right/wrong though.

Ok, I had the issue happen here as well. I'm pretty sure it's related to the extra chat tab. I had one open, closed it, typed for a bit, it was messed up for a few minutes. Then later it updated correctly. Here's a screenshot of when it was broken.

I believe I've tracked down the source of this issue, which went deeper than just displaying bad data for tabs in certain situations - it also didn't account for different instances.

I've fixed it for 5.0.
