Question Raffle entries and Currency from DB Activity & Awards plug-in.

Hi Support,

I have the DBRaffles(Lite) and DBActivity&Awards(pro) Plugins. I would like my users to be able to trade their points for raffle entries.

Q. Is it possible to use the points collected from DBActivity as a currency? If yes, can you please explain how it can be done?

Q. Will a user's total points in DBActivity decrease as they are traded in for raffle entries?

1. Add a new currency and use user as the points table and dbtech_vbactivity_points as the points table

2. Yes, but their activity level won't decrease.
 
I dont know what Im doing wrong, I cant see the link to purchase a raffle entry. I know it should display under the "you entries" text, but I cant get it to display.

Did you make sure to change the currency your raffle's entry cost is charged in?
 
I updated the default currency, I did not create a new one. Could that be the issue? Here are my settings:

Could you please create and PM me with a temporary AdminCP account?

For security reasons, we recommend you create a new AdminCP account only for DBTech support, then disable or delete it after we have both confirmed the issue has been solved and there are no further issues. It should ideally be a temporary account created for us only. If we have created an account on your site already, you can optionally boost that account to Administrator and then de-admin this account once the issue has been solved.

If you use a .htaccess password protection for your AdminCP directory, it is recommended that you create a new authorised user for DBTech and remove this user once the issue has been solved.

Please test any temporary accounts you create to ensure that the AdminCP account can access the administrative controls for the product we are assisting you with.

Ensuring this is all in order before submitting the information will significantly speed up the process of assisting you. We will alert you via PM if there's any issues with the login information you have provided.

When sending the PM, for your security you should also un-tick the "Save a copy in my Sent Items folder" checkbox. When the access details have been received, we will delete the PM from our inbox. Ensuring you have not kept a copy of the PM reduces the risk of security breaches.

Sorry for the delay, I've checked this @ your site and the problem appears to be that no usergroups have been configured to be able to enter raffles. Please use vBulletin's Usergroup Manager and edit each usergroup to grant them this permission :)

Thanks for checking but I still cant get the link to appear, I already made the change to the User Groups but nothing. My site is not live yet, feel free to make the change yourself if needed to verify this is working. Thanks.

Hi Fillip H., can you please assist? I completely understand you must be swamped running your site/business but it's bee 24 days since I reported this issue. Can you please go in and make the necessary changes the the plugin settings for this to work?

I'm really sorry, I'm not sure how I managed to miss this ticket :(

Update: I re-enabled the navbar tab, but now your site loads to a blank page so I can't test this further.
 
HI Fillip H., I fixed the blank page issue. It was one of the plugins i had disabled, not compatible with the site and caused that problem.

Please go a head an take a look when you have a moment.

I can't find any FTP information from you, and this is needed in order to debug this issue further.
 
I've re-created the raffle in question and entering the raffle works fine for me now :)
 
I don't know, if it happens again let me know and I'll jump back in to test it again :)
