At the moment, you can only cancel an advert which hides it from view. This prevents sellers listing something and then removing it from the system so as to avoid any fees. We're looking at changing this in version 2.

I'm not actually sure on this. I'll need to check how vBulletin handles the images from the expired listings. Will get back to you on this. If it's not deleted, I'll work in a fix for it.

Photos are removed if they are not used anywhere.

I'm not sure what you mean? Do you mean publish without having to select a start time, or do you mean more of a unlimited time frame for the listing (as a start time is needed to calculate how long it should be published for).
