Bug Navigation Bug Once Again

The same bug issue that occured in one of my original threads: http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/f233/reviews-bug-page-navigation-20013/

Seems to have not been added to the recent PL4 or it was not saved originally. People are unable to properly navigate multiple pages within a category.

For example, if you go here: EQ-Raiders Community

Try to click to go to page two. You can not. There was a recent fix back in April but I assume the download package got changed somehow.

The glitched link is also back in the url as there are extra "arrays" that appear in the URL's of these navigation pages.

Could you please create and PM me with a temporary FTP and AdminCP account?

For security reasons, we recommend you create a new FTP account only for DBTech support, then disable or delete it after we have both confirmed the issue has been solved and there are no further issues.

The same applies to AdminCP accounts; they should ideally be temporary accounts created for us only. If we have created an account on your site already, you can optionally boost that account to Administrator and then de-admin this account once the issue has been solved.

If you use a .htaccess password protection for your AdminCP directory, it is recommended that you create a new authorised user for DBTech and remove this user once the issue has been solved.

Please test any temporary accounts you create to ensure that the FTP account has access to the forum files, and that the AdminCP account can access the administrative controls for the product we are assisting you with.

Ensuring this is all in order before submitting the information will significantly speed up the process of assisting you. We will alert you via PM if there's any issues with the login information you have provided.

When sending the PM, for your security you should also un-tick the "Save a copy in my Sent Items folder" checkbox. When the access details have been received, we will delete the PM from our inbox. Ensuring you have not kept a copy of the PM reduces the risk of security breaches.

Thank you for helping us debug our products and allowing us to assist you, we appreciate it :D

Fillip H., we JUST had an interaction in a previous thread, heheh. You don't need to reply with the same exact message ;) . You can just use your previous info that I gave you for that issue.

Just to reiterate it doesnt look like the .zip was updated on the site or an old version over-wrote the previous hotfix because when I redownloaded the package the previous changes you made that worked from that previous thread, went away.

I did a fresh install on the reviews mod cause I did a little server management, thats how I noticed it. I was getting messages from readers that the navigation was broken again and they can't view different pages within categories.

I do apologise, but please bear in mind that I come across hundreds of user names a week, it's very difficult for me to remember all of them :(

Some people also change their login details after I'm done examining whatever issue they sent me details for.

I'll look into this @ your site as soon as I can :)

Update: This should now be resolved @ your site and in the PL4 release package :) Thanks!

Np man.

However, it looks like the url string is still not working properly. For example:

I'll use one specific category as an example because it goes 3 pages deep. But it does to it on all of them.

This one: http://www.eq-raiders.com/forum/dbtreview.php?catid=80

When you click on Page 2 it takes you to page two of the entire listing of all of the categories as a total.

The url being: http://www.eq-raiders.com/forum/dbtreview.php?sort=newest&ri=reviewcatid=80&page=2

Which doesn't use the right categories.

The url looks like it should be: http://www.eq-raiders.com/forum/dbtreview.php?catid=80&ri=review&page=2

Also, &ri=review seems to be not needed either as the url string, http://www.eq-raiders.com/forum/dbtreview.php?catid=80&page=2 works just as fine as well as being a shorter overall URL.

Yep it looks good. I assume the PL4 package has been updated with the changes so that I can redownload it to archive it?
