Could you please create and PM me with a temporary FTP and AdminCP account?

For security reasons, we recommend you create a new FTP account only for DBTech support, then disable or delete it after we have both confirmed the issue has been solved and there are no further issues.

The same applies to AdminCP accounts; they should ideally be temporary accounts created for us only. If we have created an account on your site already, you can optionally boost that account to Administrator and then de-admin this account once the issue has been solved.

If you use a .htaccess password protection for your AdminCP directory, it is recommended that you create a new authorised user for DBTech and remove this user once the issue has been solved.

Please test any temporary accounts you create to ensure that the FTP account has access to the forum files, and that the AdminCP account can access the administrative controls for the product we are assisting you with.

Ensuring this is all in order before submitting the information will significantly speed up the process of assisting you. We will alert you via PM if there's any issues with the login information you have provided.

When sending the PM, for your security you should also un-tick the "Save a copy in my Sent Items folder" checkbox. When the access details have been received, we will delete the PM from our inbox. Ensuring you have not kept a copy of the PM reduces the risk of security breaches.

Disabled all addons via config.php, disabled DBshop, uninstalling it and installing a fresh 4.5.0 version

So, I have been fiddling with the issue and here is the status:
-Rolled back to 1.5.9 & migrated the live version+db to a test linode server.
-Destroyed everything that had anything to do with dragonbyte shop, including all items.
-Freshly installed DBshop 4.5.0, added a few test items.
-Under 1.5.9 everything ran smoothly, as it is running smoothly on the live server currently.
-Attempted to update to 1.5.10 and same error occurs all over again.

Giving user permissions to anyone outside the team is the last resort I am ready to approach no matter what the situation. From the error message the issue seems simple, a string is being passed where XenForo expects an array. I guess something changed between xF versions and it needs fixing.

I will explore other options before I decide to share admin credentials to our forum.

I've just upgraded my local test board to 1.5.10 and I'm unable to replicate this issue. I have applied a workaround to the release files in the Client Area though, feel free to let me know if that works for you

In my first test, with destroying all items attached to my old DBshop installation and freshly installing dbshop 4.5.0, xF 1.5.10 update passes without issues.

Running a test with an attempt to save my items, using the Update addon feature.

I can confirm the test enviroment is updated to 1.5.10 & 4.5.0. Proceeding to update my live enviroment.. Fingers crossed.
