Question Possible bug in DBSEO 1.3.4

Hi guys,

When a user selects the thread display mode to "Linear - Newest First", upon submitting a new post, the poster is then jumped automatically to the very end of the thread, meaning the first thread-starting post of the thread. Normally, the user should be sent to the first post in the thread, as it's the newest contributed to the thread, and not the last (highest post number) post.

I believe this may be a bug in DBSEO 1.3.4, perhaps you can have a look.

Could you test this with a default vBulletin test installation? AFAIK, DBSEO gets told what post to redirect to by vBulletin.

Hi,

I can confirm the problem. I just tripped over it, too. When disabling DBSEO the redirect works as expected to the first page, first post. With DBSEO enabled the redirect goes to the top of the last thread page. It seems that DBSEO still assume to find the newest post on the last page instead on the first.

Edit: We are using version 2.0.2 so it's not only a problem in the version 1.3.4 mentioned above.

Could you please take a look on it?

unfortunately i had to switch back to vbseo due to this problem, because it impacted the usability on a large scale. I really hope you can provide a fix soon.
