Hi there

I've already read this post: http://www.dragonbyte-tech.com/f37/jquery-old-version-multiple-includes-17920/?highlight=jquery but I think I need more information.

In our forum we have jquery 1.11.0 manually in the headinclude defined. Vbulletin - Settings - Server settings -> Jquery is set to -. We point manually to the Google Servers.

Currently this mod uses 1.7.2 which is hardcoded in the class_core file of this mod.

What can we do, so that we load only once the jquery?

Regards,

Marco

As per my response in that thread, what you ask is impossible, due to the fact that it would introduce incompatibilities.

If you have a different question than the one posed in the linked thread, feel free to ask it, otherwise I'll close this ticket. Thanks!

Thank you for the response. Is it not part of the product roadmap, that you will support never version of jquery? What is your plan there?

I will also try the migrate script together with jquery 1.11 but before investigating a lot of time I'd like to know from your side, what plans you have there. It doesn't make sense to invest a lot of time for a paid product, if you're bringing support for a new jquery version anyway :D

Regards,
Marco

Considering the fact that each instance of jQuery is its own independent system (e.g. if one plugin loads 1.7.2, one loads 2.0.0, etc), there is no need to worry about updating it.
