How to get points updated?

I have set my points feature enabled and integrated with pointsmarket..
At first all of my members get their points by opening threads, messages etc..Then they start spending it..

Now realized my points are not getting updated after openig threads etc..I check yesterday same and toiday same too..How can i get it updated every hour or 24 hour? My vbactivity schudule tasks are enableb..

Do I have to create a snapsot for it and add a schudule for it? In addition to that, when I say load, it will reset all points and calculate all points or it just going to add his what ever points he/she earned after last update?

Do the points update when you run the Recalculate Points feature under vBActivity's Maintenance page?

Before people start spending points by purchasing some gifts, I did run that feature once and took me about 3 days to be finished..In addition to that Fillip H.,there is a notice that says this function will reset all points and recalculate eveodies' points..This is unacceptable at the moment because we use points as a credit to be able purchase something in shop..

Please advise..

Would it be possible for me to get an admin account on your forum as well as an ftp account? If so I'll hopefully be able to find out why It's not adding them right away
