Question DBSEO Sitemap Options - Includes Posts or Only Threads

Hi.

Thanks again for the great product.

For a forum like unix.com, is it better to not to include the posts in the dbseo sitemap and only include threads? If we include the posts, it seems like the sitemap will be too big and Google can find the posts easily when Googlebot indexes the threads, so we have chosen not to include posts in the dbseo sitemap config.

Is this a good idea? What is your recommended best practice about this?

Generally speaking, you shouldn't include posts in the sitemap. As you point out, having a massive sitemap can be problematic, and the search engine indexers are smart enough to pick out posts from threads.
