Dbseo installation problem (Urgent)

Hi Fillip H.,
I follow your tips and the installation notices on your Forum,
I have imported Dbseo files
uploaded the xml file
changed the htaccess like you said
I have enabled Dbseo and disabled Vbseo
then I use the import Vbseo function and the plugin go in error.

I see that all the old threads urls work

but the home page is inaccessible
so my site is now blocked.

and all the urls of the forums (less the threads urls) are still not affected from Dbseo urls rewrite, but them work.

Can you help me please??

You have the login to my forum can you please give a look, that you can be able to set it good in few minutes and see what is the problem?

Ok, I have resolved.
I had enabled unicode to utf8 in the default "friendly urls" of vb
Now I set it to "ignore"
and it work. :)

By default my forum home page is on www.mysite.com/forum.php
but when I enable Dbseo when I click to the forum button it point to www.mysite.com (where is there the cms page)
so each time I click on the "forum" button it come always back to the cms page.
What I can do?

(....this succeed on my 2 Forum...)

But when I try to generate the tags, no tags are added
and if I click on "View Tag Cloud" down the threads, it bring me in www.mysite.com/tags/ where it come a blank page, with a firefox message that says (wrong redirection...) but it look that the page doesn't exist.

Bumping your thread is not going to get you an answer any sooner :)

It's impossible for me to investigate this further, as the credentials provided to me previously are no longer valid for AdminCP and FTP access.

Informations sent.
Sorry I don't want bump my post I only need some help...
I have my forum that is not working properly, so that it is going down in the google rank... for this I'm in panic...

I am having no issues with the Classifieds link on your forum.

I changed the Tag Cloud URL format, and it works fine now :)

Great! :) Really many thanks. :)

Now all links and site work good.

But if I have noticed that now, if I change my default page, to open the site when they enter from google (in the "Navigation Manager") the page that is always opened is always the "Home" (Articoli)

This morning I have set like default page the Forum page, to open the site with the forum, but when you enter in the site it continue to go in the cms page.

And also did you have checked also my htaccess files and sitemap files like we sayd? :(

Because from when I install the plugin my site go down in the second place in the google search with the same search key (name) of my site. :RpS_sad:

So, I don't know if is a coincidence but I don't think... or is there some caos in my htaccess and sitemaps files.

Because if you see in the root of the site there are now 3 htacces:

htaccess (the one I'm trying to use from 3 days, by deleting some lines from the htaccess2 ....but i don't know if I have made it well)
htaccess 2 (the one I was using 3 or 4 days ago)
htaccessveryoldold (was the one I sent you one week ago with all that caos inside)

So I have tried to delete many lines of redirection that sure weren't useful (maybe were there from my previous migration from phpbb to vb), like also others lines but I don't know in particular what I have deleted.... but it was look that was something that have disabled the site compression... i think... but I'm not sure

The htacces is there now isn't giving me problem but if you look and try to see if is there everything ok I will thank you again. :)
Then for the sitemaps I have found many files and folders about (50) I will send I list in private so that if you can delete all the files and folders that are wrong or not needed by the board and check that is there a good setting in my sitemaps you will make me really a great favour.

Sorry to disturb you, but my site is going down... :( so that I have spent some money to make the site better at in the end I don't now if I'm making good or no because I'm not an expert webmaster and so I see that the site is going down with the same name of my keyword... so...
I hope you will understand me. :(

Thanks again for your help.

I've edited index.php on your site to point to forum.php as default :)

I've also turned off the vBulletin "XML Sitemap" generation, removed the vBulletin sitemap files, and removed the vBSEO Sitemap files. The only sitemap files are now from DBSEO, as it should be :)

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr :(
the never end storyyyyyyy ahhh ahhhha hahhha hhhhahhhha :)
Grrrrrr

Sorry......
but this morning arrive this message from google:

......................................................................................................................................
Increase in authorization permission errors

Google detected a significant increase in the number of URLs we were blocked from crawling due to authorization permission errors.

Recommended action

Check the Crawl Errors page in Webmaster Tools.
Check if your server or host is blocking Googlebot.
If you don't want Google to crawl these pages, consider adding them to your robots.txt.

...................................................................................................................................

And my site continue to go down with the exact keyword of my site, in the google searches. :(

Maybe is the file robot that generate these errors.. I really don't know.... :(

I'm sending you in pm the list of google errors to better understand what is the problem.

Please have you patience.

That is completely normal. With DragonByte SEO, "No Permissions" pages in vBulletin generate HTTP 403 status messages, which tells Google not to attempt to re-index these sites. 404 pages actually send HTTP 404 status codes as well, which also tells Google not to re-index those pages.

This is just Google alerting you to the fact that this is a recent change, it's absolutely nothing to worry about :)

Thanks for your answer but I have seen in google webmaster tools this:

sigarettaelettronicaforum.it.webp

The most of these errors look that are created from the members urls
The 80% of all this errors say that are member urls.

3000 errors from when we have installed the plugin are not few, so for this I'm preoccupied.

Have you seen my robot.txt?

Is all ok there?

You have configured vBulletin so that guests are not allowed to view member profiles, that is why you receive these permission errors when Google tries to index it. It's working as intended :)
