I was searching for a proper eCommerce solution for Xenforo as I am trying to find an alternative of WordPress + Woocommerce because they have much larger footprint, whereas Xenforo has comperatively much smaller one. Plus, Xenforo is much much faster than WordPress. So someone referred me to Dragonbyte eCommerce and the first thing I did, I tried to get a glimpse Dragonbyte eCommerce documentation or an online Demo (which seems nowhere in the site, at least I couldn't find one) because without seeing it in action and without proper documentation, I am not willing to invest my hard-earned money. So, I searched through Google which has disappointingly failed. Then I searched YouTube. I was very delighted to see that there is an 'Official' channel of Dragonbyte Technologies Ltd. But I was utterly surprised after entering the channel by seeing that such a great eCommerce platform creators are more interested on streaming games rather than posting an updated tutorial video on their eCommerce and other products. Only two videos of Dragonbyte eCommerce are there, one is on "Early Preview" which was was uploaded 4 years ago and another one on version 1.0.0 Beta 2 which was uploaded 3 years ago, which is .... I don't know what objective should I put.. 'shameful' or 'ridiculous' ?!

To the creators of this vital eCommerce system, you should give some of your concentration on uploading related videos on your products than uploading game videos. For game videos, please create another channel because this is VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL to show game videos in the 'Official channel' of a professional company rather than documantation / tutorial video on their own products.

I can't tell if this post is serious or not. Clearly, the YouTube channel is not in active use, which you yourself noticed based on the upload dates.

Normally, I would point out the fact that you can see the front-end of eCommerce in action @ this site, but I would prefer it if you do not purchase DragonByte eCommerce, as you appear to have unrealistic expectations regarding small (1-2 person) add-on development studios.

I don't know the best words to describe your post, but I think either 'shameful' or 'ridiculous' would be a good fit.

You can understand whether I am serious or not. It doesn't matter whether you are a 1-2 person development studio or a 100 employee company. The difference is in vision and professionalism. If you take this as a hobby, it will give you the result of a 'hobby'. But if you think about it as a professional, it will give you the result of 'professional' and to do that, you should think seriously about the content of your official YouTube channel. If you can't maintain, then delete it. It would be better rather than being there as a childish channel. I may sound rude, but this is a voice of a professional. Your software, on which you have given 100s of hours because this thing, Dragonbyte eCommerce add-on, could be a serious shit. If you think seriously, then this add-on can make Xenforo a serious piece of software. Those who think that Xenforo is only good as a forum, this software can make them wrong and can help evolve as a software which can make a serious eCommerce site along with a forum which will be far better than WordPress or any other CMS. It can make Xenforo evolve as a complete CMS rather than a forum software. But, this software lacks a proper documentation, a proper updated tutorial. If I buy this add-on, then also I can't make a tutorial video to help you because you are the developers. Only you know this add-on inside out. You have to do it. In case of an eCommerce software, everyone need a proper documentation or a proper video tutorial where every option would be explained.

As you have mentioned about "front-end eCommerce in action"... sorry to say, it is not good if you use it only for purchasing your products. I think you know what a 'proper documentation' is. You have to show the back-end configuration to front-end design customizing. I am criticizing you, but this is a constructive criticism. Don't think about it otherwise. I think you can understand what I have tried to say.

Yes, it does. A 100 employee company will have way more resources available to them in order to spend the hundreds of man-hours necessary to create documentations and tutorials and whatever else you demand.

I think you know what a 'proper documentation' is.

I think you know what a 'lack of resources' is.

Every hour I spend writing documentation is another hour I'm not spending improving the software or making new software. Small development studios do not have the resources to create the level of documentation you find in million-dollar companies, and it's incredibly unprofessional of you to insinuate otherwise.

I am criticizing you, but this is a constructive criticism.

If you think the insulting tone you have taken in both of your posts is considered constructive criticism, then I really pity your coworkers (and heavens forbid you have subordinates at your workplace).

You are just a bullshit. You know nothing but professionalism. You don't take constructive criticism, let alone the criticism, as a stepping stone and look into the positive side and do the right thing. FYI, I also work alone. I don't even have a second hand to help me. But whatever I create, I create it user friendly and give my clients full support. If they tell me something wrong in my creation, I don't counter-criticize them for that, instead I take a good look into my creation and correct it if it needs to and if it doesn't, I explain them politely. Because they are my customers who can bring more customers. They give me my bread and butter. But you are such an arrogant fool who doesn't care about it. May be you just need it. I haven't seen any 'PROFESSIONAL' coder-cum-businessman uploading game video in their official channel. If yours was a game studio, it would be justified. Anyway, it is just waste of time to give your brain some good food. Better to leave you alone.

Coding takes a lot of time and energy, why would someone waste time on making videos which is time consuming
