Question vb notification on vb 3.8.x

I just bought and downloaded your mod vbnotiificaion after read in manual :

"
This is a feature packed Notifications modification for vBulletin. This version was built to work on vBulletin 3.8.x, 4.0.x and 4.1.x. "

my forum is 3.8.x but when trying installing i see only vb4 xml version. how can i install it?

I can't find any mention of vBulletin 3.8 in the product information page. The "At a glance" block specifically mentions only vBulletin 4.x.

I will get the manual amended and credit your account with the equivalent cost worth of store credit that can be applied to other purchases
