Legacy Subcategories for Organization

We have many different items set up in our current shop system using VBCommerce on 3.8.6. We are upgrading soon to 4.1.1 and will be using VBShop.

What we'd like to see is a better way of organizing many items in the system via tabs or subcategories.

For v2.0 we plan to add multiple different shops, which will serve this purpose

It's in production now, there are a few factors which could affect development time though (Including Fillip H. moving home in a couple of weeks) but it'll likely be the next 4-6 weeks =)
