Bug Registration event doesn't fire

As per title. No trace of my enabled new user registration event in my log. And yes I did get a valid registration in xf.

Are you sure this is not due to user group limits on the event? I forgot if I added user groups as permitted limiters to that event.

I’ve tested this myself multiple times and it works fine for me, so it is likely a configuration issue somewhere or a conflict with another addon not coded correctly.

Well there are no group permissions for that event that I can see so we're good there.

I tested it again and no go. Weird. All my other events work just fine.

Do you use any mods that modify the registration process in any way? If you add a new user via the AdminCP, does it work there?

Also, do you use email verification? If so, make sure the "users awaiting email confirmation" group has "Trigger events" set to yes.

Adding a user via ACP doesn't get this working.
