no caching usergroups

What about not caching admins. When I'm in the admin panel I get tired of having to turn off and on.

What elements specifically are not being updated? Cache is intended to be auto flushed in most locations, if there's something not invoking it we may be able to add support for it I do like your "cache exclusion" idea too though, I'll give that some thought.

Well what I mean, is that for an Admin which should be few (<100). I want to be able to save a template and it automatically clear the cache. when I save a user or update their usergroup it's not painstaking...it's just inconvenient.

Updating templates should already clear the cache, can I ask which version you're using?

As for the user info, we don't cache anything there so there's no reason it should not be updating without having to flush the cache.
