DragonByte Tech Development Team is proud to present the latest iteration of our highly successful vBShout; version 4.5.0!
Released early to our Pro customers, this major update brings with it not only the finalisation of our revised layout, but also two major new features:
Instances and Chat Rooms
Instances are basically the ability to create separate Shoutboxes. You can have one shoutbox that only shows on a special page, and only give your staff access to that Instance.
Voila, you now have a private shoutbox that only your staff can access.
Chat Rooms are basically miniature instances; you as an Admin can create them for specific usergroups, or you can let your users create them amongst themselves.
They'll appear as new chat tabs next to the normal tabs.
Note that both these features are Pro exclusive features, so if you think this sounds like just what you need, you know what to do!
The Lite version, which will contain most of the layout changes, will be available Soon (TM).
Oh, and PS: Just like promised, Lite and Pro no longer need to be installed side-by-side. If you buy the Pro version, you'll get 1 XML file which will automatically clean up the Lite version and properly upgrade it to Pro, with no further interaction from you needed.
