Question md5_sums file has double underscore was this intended?

I forgot to mention this awhile ago and just came across it again...

The md5_sums file for this mod has this filename: /includes/md5_sums__vboptimise_dbtech.php

Just wasn't sure if the double underscore was intended between sums and vboptimise in the name, and if it wasn't what would the mods lack of access to this file cause?

It is indeed, as it prepends "md5_sums_" to the product ID, which for vB Optimise is "_vboptimise_dbtech" hence the double underscore
