Hello,
I set up my forum and installed dbSEO. Now the 'forum' menu item and the logo does no longer refer to /forum.php or at least partly. After several site reloading (tried with different browsers: FireFox, Internet Explorer and Safari on my iPhone) there's always a different result. When turning off dbSEO it works fine. I'm using the .htaccess which was in the do_not_upload folder. I turned off 'Force Forum Directory Index' but this makes hardly any difference.

How to make it working with your extention?

Thanks for an answer in advance.

This is controlled by the Force Forum Directory Index setting, and you should also make sure that the "Forum" tab in the Navigation Manager is set to
Code:
forum.php{session.sessionurl_q}
for the Target URL.

The navigation menu entry should be exactly what I posted in my previous post.

If you want, you can PM me with an FTP and AdminCP account and I can look into this on-site :)

This is my config. Before giving out sensible data, it'd be nice if you could try it yourself using the given Website URL if it works like supposed. I did a fresh vb install and just setup. vB config is left default except the friendly and canonical URLs. The .htaccess from the do_not_upload folder was added to the rorum root. dbSEO was enabled and Force Index Directory (..) was turned off. Maybe it's just me tht my browser cache scrambles it.

Seems I sort out the issue myself. It's now working fine with Firefox/Internet explorer. Not sure what's been the error but I went thru all configs and saved them again. Now it's working fine. :)

Excellent, glad you got it working :)

If you have any other issues or questions, please feel free to start a new support ticket. Thanks!
