Question Email not registered users

I want to use this addon to manage a full newsletter. So before I buy I wanted to make sure it supports everything


1. I want to have a small widget where people can enter their email address and get added to the mailing list without registering in the forum. Is that possible to achieve with this addon?
So then I could send a single newsletter to all registered users and all not-registered people that simply entered their emails to get mail without forum access.
And ideally these people can still register later if they want to, so entering their emails should not block them from using the forum in the future if they decide to register a few months later.


2. Will it be able to handle emailing 100k users?

No, this add-on does not support emailing non-registered users.

It will handle emailing any number of registered users as it uses XenForo's email queue.

Do you think it would be easy to implement this myself using xenforo API? Should I even try?

Also as I understand it should be able to handle 100k users without problems?

I don't know, it would certainly not integrate with this addon as it requires user accounts.

Yes, as XenForo's email queue will not email everyone instantly, so it scales infinitely.
