Hi, why when i am editid post or thread plugin taking back credits?
in transaction i see "you lost credits because delete post"
buy i not delete, just edit.

This is working as intended. The reason why this occurs is that the system has no way of knowing whether the event(s) that applied to the post or thread used the "Points per word" or "Points per character" feature, so it has to run through the whole process again in reverse.

I realise this can be confusing to users and I am exploring solutions, but for now this is what's needed.

Also if a moderator or admin want to edit other thread, the system will display an error "Sorry, you need {amount} {currency} to start this thread. "
In my view, that's a bug and developer need to fix it
@romanzif Have you tried edit thread from others under moderator/admin account?

Yes, but admin have some credits so i didnt bump with this problem.
But you right, imho this is a bug.

So uncomfortable, the transaction log made me so confused with Earned and then Negation with Edit and post new thread, too complicated, even me administrator still confuse so how all my members can understand when look at it?
You need to fix it @Fillip H.
If you keep saying:
"This is working as intended", then you should make another option to working with the rest of people, like me and people like @romanzif , don't you see there is alot of people complaining about this?
So I don't think "This is working as intended" from you can solve their problems

Also if you select un-approve a thread in moderation tool, the author of that thread will be gained back the amount of credit, AND IF YOU DELETE THAT THREAD, the author get twice times credit
Have anyone reported this bug before? @Fillip H.

I'm keeping this thread open so I can review this for future versions. No amount of multiple posts or capital letters is going to speed things up, though.

Capital only for emphasize the matters, which thing should priority first, I think that's a thing should do
But I think the most important is fix the confusion from Adding amount and negation when edit thread or delete thread, and also in transaction log, when I looked at it, so confused
AND : A thread when get delete should not return amount to their author for any reason, or you should make a checkbox option for that if you still want to "This is working as intended" ?

i edited a thread and it says "removed" and not "edited"

mine says " You lost 12 Credits from a thread you posted having been removed. "

it should say " You lost 12 Credits from a thread you posted having been edited. "

im not sure why it takes 12 credits from me, i don't see any event in admin panel for edit thread 12 credits

That's a problem right now for everyone who using Dragonbyte Credits
It's should NOT take their credits just because they want to edit their thread or force them to have enough balance, no need to be so
I think the developer still trying to find a way to fix this (or maybe not?)
Besides, if a moderator or administrator try to edit their thread, you will get an error "You need {amount} to edit thread". Even though moderator/administrator has lots of balance but still can't edit other threads, this is a bug
So so so many problems come to developer @Fillip H.

it's really up to the every admin to decide weather he want to take/give credits/or disable event for someone editing their thread, there should be event/option in admin panel

in my forum, i will choose to give every member 100 credits for new thread, 50 credits for posting, and i want to take -5 credits for editing thread, i think take -5 credits from edit and good so they dont edit too often

i dont have the problem/bug you talk about, i am admin and have 599,369 Credits and it don't give me any error say need more credits,

yes, he said he will take a look at the problem,
he has lot of work too do and no one help him
programming alone is hard, many hours

i am study php everyday, and my plan is to apply for job with dbTech, so i can help improve add-ons and improve work experience because now i work with my grandma and she not pay lot money for me

.

Just to let you know I'm working on an update that will attempt to detect whether it's necessary to undo the previous event when editing a post.

As always, there's no ETA.
