Hello,

We are planning to establish a bookshop in our website where the students can buy.and sell their used books and I nominate eCommerce for this project. I will start with some general question:

1. Is eCommerce the right addon for our project? Is it designed for this?

2. Is there a demo for eCommerce?

3. Can the user add (request an item) or he can just sell items?

4. To avoid expired offers, we need to put 10 days maximun for each item, then it will disappear from our eCommerce unless the user renew it, manually, is that possible?

5. Our website will be the link between the buyer and the seller and we will take a commission (precentage) from each payment, can we do this?

6. If a buyer paid for an item, then is it possible to put the status as pending until he receives the item and change the status?

1. Is eCommerce the right addon for our project? Is it designed for this?

No. eCommerce does not have Classifieds functionality, because it integrates with the payment profile system in XenForo which does not allow for this kind of functionality.

2. Is there a demo for eCommerce?

Only the front-end, which you can see here in @ this site.

3. Can the user add (request an item) or he can just sell items?

Only sell.

No.

No.

6. If a buyer paid for an item, then is it possible to put the status as pending until he receives the item and change the status?

Physical items are flagged as shipped manually by the administrator. There is no separate flag for when the buyer receives the item.
