Question Donations with upgrades reverting to "standard" status randomly

Hi guys,

So - The way i have donate set up is fairly simple...

User donates (via paypal) to one of three categories - lets call them A, B and C.

When donation is confirmed, user gets upgraded to "site supporter" status, which lasts for 365 days... this gives them rights to post in specific parts of the site they wouldnt usually be able to.

However i am randomly (and reguarly now) seeing this upgrade being removed from peoples accounts. This has happened 5 times in the last month - all different points in their year, all different people. If you check the donation logs you can see the payment, and successful completion, however the uprgade is no longer there.

Not sure what to do since i obviously dont want to loose any upgrades currently in place... Assistance would be appreciated

Can you check the xf_user_change_temp table for any entries like this:


(The relevant ones being the ones starting with dbtechDonate)

You can use a site like https://www.epochconverter.com to convert the expiry_date timestamp to real time to find out if there's a problem.

Have had a dig through and fortunately only found one with a problem... however thats one too many really (people arent too understanding when they pay for access and cannot use it )....

Can you show me the full config for the donation drive?

Nothing seems wrong there. The next thing to check is whether the donations are still flagged as being confirmed. The donation log should show whether any given donation is flagged as confirmed or not.

To confirm: Are the entries for the missing secondary groups also missing from these records, or do the records exist in that database table but the group just isn't applying?
