Can you donate currency?

In DragonByte Credits yes, via the Donate event It's then available via the currency overlay you get when you click a currency anywhere on the site:

I don't see a donate event active. I'd imagine I'd need to create one?

For donate, would I need to check the box "Is charged", right?

No, leave "Is Charged" off and set everything else to 0, other than "Frequency" under "Advanced Options", which should be 1.
