Question Combine order items into single email

When a user orders 3-4 physical items, I get an email for each one. Always makes me leery that I'll miss one and a customer may not get something they ordered.

Can you loop through all the items from the order and put them in a single email? It'd also reduce the number of emails going out.

Can we also get the order number in the email?

There might still be room for improvement, but the reason why individual items get individual emails is because each individual item (or multiple of an item) can have its own shipping method.

I'll keep this open so I can investigate whether it's something I can improve going forward.

Update: Upon review, this is already logged in the feature requests section: Order Info mail

I'll look into improving the way these emails are handled in the upcoming v3. You can track the recently implemented suggestions via this link.

Without having reviewed this in detail, it's likely that emails will continue to work in a similar way - if not identical - if the "Shipping weight alert destination" setting is set to Seller.
If this setting (and I just noticed the incorrect "weight" word in the setting name, will fix!) is set to Forum contact address it's likely I will be able to consolidate these emails into one.
